Mehfil now needs our support. As many of us have noted over the past several years, Mehfil must be renovated to accommodate the practical needs of our growing community. For example, we need an elevator for our elderly and handicapped, a ghusl khana to ensure proper burial preparation, an extension of the women’s area, more room for Sunday school classes, projection screens and wi-fi access, additional restrooms, a new heating and cooling system, separate dining halls for men and women, a closet for shoes and coats, additional stairs to access the floors, and more.
The expected cost of the planned renovations is $600,000. It is a large fundraising goal, but it is attainable with your support. These renovations will result in necessary improvements for the convenience and comfort of our community, and enable Mehfil to continue playing an integral part in the lives of our community members. Please support Mehfil in its effort to better serve the community. We have raised 10% of our goal so far, and hope you can help us progress even further.
